Aurora, N.C. Sharks teeth

Aurora North Carolina,  Lee Creek Phosphate mine.  This  is a world famous collecting site that has been closed for several years .   The teeth from this site are all now old collection when they do come up for sale ,  and the prices just keep going up!!  The sight consists of miocene to pliocene era fossils. Some of the most spectacular  Megalodon teeth in the world have been found there. The fossils are noted to be cream color and the condition can be as perfect as a fossil can be.

Super serrated, complete Lee Creek Mine Megalodon Tooth. If you are looking for a super quality NC tooth this is one fine example.  The gum line is a beautiful light chocolate  brown color and the root is beige. The serrations are super  sharp, and looking closely you can see blood vessel and tended grooves in the root.   There is no restoration done to this specimen and it as beautiful as they come.    No other teeth compare to the Lee Creek Mine site,  and they stand out in any collection!

This Lee Creek Mine tooth is a beauty!  It is Light in color,  has killer detail,  and is in outstanding condition. This tooth has the traits of both a megalodon and a chubetensis.  The serrations are large for this tooth and the sides seem to protrude outward a tiny bit.  You can clearly see the blood vessel and nerve openings on this one as the root is simply outstanding.  There is no restoration done to this tooth.
